About Us
Esti is a young Latina and a curious being who likes to know how things work everywhere, with a passion for politics and equality. This journey will be a long one and at times a hard one, but she has faith in herself that she will get to Denver to represent all those that couldn't. Additionally, Esti is glad she's finally old enough to vote! Esti is a member of the League of Women Voters and volunteers with the Dallas County Democratic Party.
Jan is a thirty-something native of the Pacific NW transplanted to her ancestral land of Texas. Her lifelong passion for politics dates to the Mondale-Ferraro campaign in 1984. She came very close to meeting Bill Clinton once and has met several Democratic Governors of Oregon, in addition to her current Congressional Representative, Eddie Bernice Johnson. While living in Oregon she was active in her Neighborhood Association as well as the Democratic Party of Oregon. Jan's current involvements include Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, League of Women Voters, the ONE Campaign to Make Poverty History, and her faith community.
Esti and Jan both have one goal - to be elected as Delegates from Texas to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver.
